Nic-Hit spray is an instant release mouth spray that works on cravings within 60 seconds for fast relief of cravings.

It is the quickest form of nicotine replacement therapy when you crave a cigarette or require relief when experiencing nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
Nic-Hit spray provides fast relief of your nicotine cravings and the withdrawal symptoms you get when stopping smoking.

When you suddenly stop providing nicotine from tobacco to your body, you will experience various unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Nic-Hit spray can prevent or reduce these cravings for smoking by continuing to provide a small amount of nicotine to your body for a short period of time.

How to Use Nic-Hit SPRAY

Getting started
Remove the protective cap. Your spray is ready to use.

Spray the inside of your cheek
Press the top of the spray assembly to release one spray of the solution onto the inside of your cheek.

Avoid touching your lips. Do not inhale at the time of spraying. For best results, refrain from swallowing your saliva for a few seconds after spraying.

Close after use
Replace the protective cap after use.

1-6
Step #1: Weeks 1–6

Spray 1–2 doses, 1–24 times a day, of 1 mg Nic-Hit liquid into your mouth, whenever you would normally smoke a cigarette or have cravings for a cigarette.

Use the second spray if your cravings do not disappear within a few minutes. If 2 sprays are required, future doses may be delivered as 2 consecutive sprays.

The maximum daily dose is 48 sprays per day providing up to 48 mg of nicotine.

7-9
Step #2: Weeks 7–9

Start reducing the number of sprays per day.

By the end of week 9 you should be using half the average number of sprays per day that you used in step #1.

10-12
Step #3: Weeks 10–12

Continue reducing the number of sprays per day so that you are not using more than 2–4 sprays per day during week 12.

At the end of week 12, stop using the Nic-Hit spray

Medicinal ingredient in each dosage strength:

  • Nic-Hit spray 1 mg: Each spray contains 1 mg of Nicotine.
  • Nic-Hit spray 2 mg: Each spray contains 2 mg of Nicotine.

Non-medicinal ingredients:
Mint flavour: Propylene glycol, glycerol, xylitol, purified water, and peppermint flavor.
Orange flavour: Propylene glycol, glycerol, xylitol, purified water, and orange tangerine flavor.

Nic-Hit spray can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Nic-Hit spray can give the same side effects as other ways of taking nicotine. The side effects generally depend on the dose you take.

  • Effects related to stopping smoking (nicotine withdrawal)
    You may experience unwanted effects because by stopping smoking you have reduced the amount of nicotine you are taking. You may also experience these effects if you underuse the Nic-Hit spray before you are ready to reduce your nicotine intake.
  • The side effects include:
    - Irritability, aggression, impatience or frustration
    - Feeling anxious, restlessness or having difficulty concentrating
    - Night time awakening or sleep disturbance
    - Increased appetite or weight gain
    - Feeling low
    - Urges to smoke (craving)
    - Lowering of heart rate
    - Bleeding gums
    - Dizziness
  • Some effects are very common when using Nic-Hit spray, affecting more than 1 in 10 individuals:
    - Hiccups (these are particularly common)
    - Headache, nausea (feeling sick)
    - Local effects of the spray such as tingling, burning sensations, inflammation or pain in the mouth or lips or changes in taste perception
    - Dryness of the mouth or throat or conversely increased amounts of saliva
    - Feelings of dyspepsia (indigestion)
  • Some effects are common, affecting between 1 in 10 and 1 in 100 individuals
    - Cough
    - Pain or discomfort in abdomen or chest
    - Vomiting, flatulence or diarrhea
    - Tightness or numbness of the throat
    - Feeling tired (fatigue)
  • A number of side effects have been uncommon, in between 1 and 100 and 1 in 1000 individuals:
    - Effects on the nose such as running, stuffiness, sneezing, bleeding or changes in how things smell
    - Wheezing (bronchospasm) or feeling like breathing requires more effort than usual (Dys pnea)
    - Skin flushing (blushing), tingling, increased sweating or cold sweats
    - Eye irritation and increased tear production (lacrimation)
    - Pain, tension or discomfort in the muscles or joints
    - Oral effects such as toothache, inflammation of the tongue or gums, damage to the lining of the mouth or changes in the sound of your voice.
    - Palpitations (an unusual awareness of your heart beating) or a fast heart rate
    - Decreased appetite
    - Hypersensitivity (allergy) including rash and/or itching (pruritus, urticaria) of the skin.
  • A few side effects have been seen in small numbers of patients, but how common they are cannot be calculated from the data known:
    - A fast and/or irregular heart beat (atrial fibrillation)
    - Blurred vision
    When you stop smoking you may also develop mouth ulcers. The reason why this happens is unknown.
